How to Clean Suede Shoes and Boots

Suede shoes and boots are fashionable and add a touch of flair to your wardrobe. The fabric is soft and especially vulnerable to dirt and moisture, which can ruin the material or make it less attractive. Proper fabric care increases the longevity of your shoes and ensures that they look good for many days to come. UGG Nail brushSuede brushSuede protector Remove all loose dirt from your shoes or boots. This will allow you to access the harder-to-remove stains. Use a nail brush or small hard bristle brush to rub lightly on the material. Take care not to rub so hard that you scratch the suede.2Buff scuff marks out of the suede by using a suede brush. This is a softer bristle brush. Your goal is to buff the material in order to refresh the fabric. Alternate back and forth strokes with just enough pressure to see the "naps" of the fabric start to rise a bit.3Battle water stains with water. If you have water drop stains, the best thing you can do is hide them. Take your nail brush and apply a thin but visibly moist layer of water to the entire shoe. Spread uniformly and brush rapidly, particularly on areas that had spots. Let the shoe dry overnight.4Spray suede protector onto your clean shoes or boots. Once you have removed all dirt and worked on all stains, this is your best option for keeping the boot clean. This is not a complete protector. Be aware that you may have to apply a new coat each season and be sure to address all stains and dirt as soon as you notice them.
